Founder’s Journey
The founders of Rosha are childhood friends and after doing their graduation, they initially joined their family businesses. However, they wanted to do something their own. Gaurav Tikiya did his graduation in B.Sc, electronics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. Shivam Diwan completed a B.Com in Business Management and Marketing from Delhi’s college.
How Rosha Started lightening?
Rosha was founded in 2019. The founders got the idea, while sitting at the restaurant and discussing with the manager, they found out that restaurant spent a lot of money on candles every month and which were inconvenient and had to be replaced frequently. This led to the concept of wireless, rechargeable table lamps.
When they started the business some of the lamps were imported. In FY24 – 25, they have 50% Made in India products and 50% imported. They plan to increase this to 80% Made in India products in the next three years.
